A drawing exercise that I did said to have some fun drawing stick figures in different positions. I took a few of my matchstick figure drawings, added some crocodiles, and created the above little adventure.
Have an Adventuresome Friday!
Get your groove on, shake it to the beat. Move your hands and move your feet. Put your arms up in the air. You're Groovin....
I think that could be a great start for a song, maybe I should come up with the rest of the lyrics?
The above image is the result of me adding some watercolours to a sketch I did a few months ago. It looks pretty groovy I think!! It's all about the groove today.
Have a Groovy Friday!
I'd really love to put the 'NO BILLS' sign on our letterbox, then eagerly await for our postie to arrive on his pushbike, just to see the expression on his face. What would he do... would he notice it, would he laugh, or would he scratch his head and look confused? I'd love to know!! My guess is, that if I did put a 'NO BILLS' sign on our letterbox, it would bring a smile to our postie's dial, nothing more, nothing less.
Happy Friday for your letterbox, here's hoping there are NO BILLS today!!!
Bonus if there's a postcard, or a parcel containing something cool and fun!!
I think ducks are fascinating! Above, is a summary of what I observed ducks doing one day, as I sat down by the river. I didn't have a pen, or paper with me at the time, so I did my sketch from memory later that day.
Have a delightful Friday
I felt like drawing a red balloon today, so here it is, flying way up high in the sky.
So much for my more detailed post this week using my new pens, quite the opposite actually. In fact, I don't think it gets much rougher than using my harry potter pen (as seen in the sketch above).
What a week, lucky it's Friday!!
Have you had a light bulb moment lately? I feel like I did yesterday, when I came up with the idea for this cartoon. I am sure that I'm not the first, or the last to have this idea, but this was my take on it. Also I was experimenting and playing around with my new sepia pens. I do like them. I may need to see what else I can do with them next week. I might try something with a little more detail.
Wishing you happy ideas and light bulb moments!
In the above image the boy in the second row is ultra prepared, free from the stench thanks to his gas mask. I was going to dress him in a scouts uniform, but the idea of a bow tie stuck with me for some reason. I think the girl at the front looks a lot like me when I was young, although she has a rounder face. From the love heart last week, to the stinky smells this week, you never know from week to week what will be next! Truth is, some weeks neither do I. It really is lucky you can't scratch and sniff this picture. Not that you can scratch and sniff anything on a computer screen. Or can you???
Happy Valentine's Day to you all!!!!
This morning I had to face the fact I still had no cartoon for this week's post, aaarrhhh!!! Then my hubby kindly reminded me 'it's Valentine's Day', yay!! So, here is my very quick effort, a re-take on and old card design I did back in 2008 I think.
Excitement for me is building, even though it's only lunchtime, as we are dining out tonight, to celebrate Valentine's Day and I can't wait. It's been a while since we ate out!! I hope you are getting spoilt today by someone special, and if not make sure you do something special yourself.
